Kendall Over 30's A 2 - 1 Boston White Eagles

Kendall’s Over 30 A side put their first points of the NEOTHSL Division 2S season on the board with a convincing 2-1 victory over Boston White Eagles.

Wanderers looked dangerous from the first whistle, coming close on several occasions. Good work from Kevin Gorham set Phil Keane up for Kendall's opener, the Dubliner showing composure to finish from just inside the box.

Kendall pressure continued in the second half, with Javier Arnez and Ben Sprayregen both looking sharp. Jonah Fontela finished a flowing Kendall move with his typical precision to find the net.

A rare defensive mishap from Kendall gifted Eagles a goal, making for a nervy finish.

Jonah almost put the game beyond reach, getting on the end of a through ball from Darren Skehan. He looked set to score his second of the day before the Eagles' goalkeeper unceremoniously upended him. Jonah handled the referee's decision not to award a foul with his typical grace and poise. Best performance of the season yet for Aidan Finnan's men, next up is Southborough United.
